There is a wonderful archive of magazines and books related to radio and electronics to be found here. In all honesty, I’ve probably downloaded most of the content. I still prefer looking through paper magazines and having once parted with my collection, I’m again on the lookout to rebuild some of it. If I have written (B) it means I have the issue but need a better condition copy. If I have written (G) it’s a note for me to say the copy is for a friend.
My main interests are magazines with radio related construction articles so I have Ham Radio Today, Practical Wireless, Radio Constructor, Radio Bygones, Radiophile, SPRAT etc.
I’m OK with many of the others such as Radio Communication (RadCom) from the RSGB, Short Wave Magazine and many others, in digital format.

Radio Constructor
Most from the 1940s and early 1950s:
Earliest ones: August 1947 to December 1952
1953: Jan through to August, October and November
1954: April, September and October
1955: none needed
1956: February and March
1960s:
Bound Volume from August 1965 to July 1966 (see below)
1962: October and December
1963: January, October and December
1964: January, April, June through to October
Later issues:
1972: January through to July, November
1973: January and September
1974: September
1975 and 1976: none needed
1977: September/October (combined issue), November and December
1978: February, March and June through to December
1979: April, June through to August, October and December
1980: January, May through to July, September through to December
1981: February, April through to August/September…the last ever issue
I also collect the bound volumes and need: 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10 through to 18
Practical Wireless (PW)
Before 1949 I need quite a lot, I don’t need to go back before September 1940, when the magazine became a monthly publication. That said, I’d be glad to take any earlier ones you have to save them being lost.

I need issues: 61, 64, 65, 69, 83, 88, 89, 90, 91 and 134.
Radiophile Magazine
I have issues 40, 49 & 50, 51, 55 & 56, 57, 64, 71, 80, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 106, 113, 118, 119, 120, 122, 140 to 144 which is the last one I believe. If you have any of the missing ones, that would be great.
I am also putting together a collection of BVWS Bulletins and VMARS Signal magazines

WANTED by a fellow magazine collector
The following are wanted by someone who has helped me with my collection. Do you have any of these magazines?
- Amateur Radio (1980’s) – undated issue 1982, no. 2. no. 3, March 1983, and some of the very last issues around 1990
- Radio Today – the last 16 or so issues after it changed name from Ham Radio Today
- T&R Bulletins – 1925-1926 and about three from 1929 and 1931 (unobtanium ?)
- Marconigraph – April 1913, Vol 1, No. 1, for a friend. (unobtanium ?)
