On Friday the 10th October 2014, Ofcom published a document that included the intention to release an additional 1MHz of spectrum on the 2m (144MHz) band…on a temporary basis.
Available via a Notice of Variation (NoV) to full license holders only, the frequencies are from 146 to 147MHz…giving a full 3MHz on 2m 🙂
From the end of October 2014, full license holders can apply via the RSGB Website for their NoV.
